| Satterthwaite Parish Room is situated opposite All Saints' Church in the centre of the village of Satterthwaite, the main settlement in the beautiful valley of Grizedale in the Lake District. |
|

| Since 1883, the Parish Room has served the local community, providing a venue for a wide range of activites, including Parish Council and WI meetings, concerts, dances, table tennis, lectures and talks. In addition, the Parish Room is available for hire for private functions, its facilities offering full modern conveniences. |

The Grizedale Visitor Centre, with its popular Go Ape High Wire Forest Adventure, is just over a mile away making the Parish Room the ideal location for small parties needing a place to stay. |

The building is well heated and has a spacious kitchen adjoining the main hall. There are two toilets, one of which caters for the disabled, and adequate wash basins. A wide gallery, accessible via a narrow staircase at the end of the Parish Room, offers commanding views overlooking the hall below and has sufficient room for a small group of musicians. |
